Job Description Job Description LHH Recruitment Solutions has a Payroll Specialist role open with our client in Bradenton, FL. This is an onsite (hybrid after 90 days), direct hire opportunity. Responsibilities: Assist with preparation of biweekly high-volume payroll, including reviewing and processing employee payroll changes Update payroll records and support the team in ensuring timely payroll processing Respond professionally and promptly to payroll inbox inquiries Run audit reports and follow up with managers to correct data before payroll runs Maintain pay card information for all company restaurant locations Send garnishment orders to third?party vendors for processing Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to support strong working relationships Investigate and process manual check requests Respond to PTO balance inquiries from the field Address payroll questions requiring limited policy interpretation Complete forms that require payroll data entry or verification Recommend process improvements for payroll operations Assist with year?end tasks including W?2 processing and annual pay summaries Support special projects and payroll audits as needed Qualifications: High school diploma required, degree in a related field preferred 2 years of high-volume payroll processing experience required Experience working in a public company with multiple locations strongly preferred Proficiency with HRIS platforms (ADP-preferred, Workday, UKG, etc.) Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations, including garnishments, tax, and withholding Solid MS 365 skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfort with web?based applications and databases High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and customer?service orientation Strong communication, organization, and problem?solving skills Salary range : $55-60K Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year Search managed by: Cynthia Zipay Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Military connected talent encouraged to apply To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.lhh.com/us/en/candidate -privacy The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: The California Fair Chance Act Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance Massachusetts Candidates Only: It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
