Electrician Position: Journeyman Electrician Experience Level:
Experienced Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair
electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with
local electrical codes and regulations. Read and interpret
electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to
determine the layout, placement, and installation requirements for
electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment. Perform electrical
wiring and connections for residential, commercial, and industrial
projects, including installing conduits, cables, switches, outlets,
lighting fixtures, and circuit breakers. Conduct inspections,
tests, and diagnostics to identify electrical problems and
troubleshoot issues, ensuring proper functioning and safety of
electrical systems. Make necessary repairs or replacements to
faulty or damaged electrical components. Ensure compliance with
safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment, following
established procedures and safety guidelines. Collaborate with
other team members, including apprentices and helpers, to complete
projects efficiently and within established timelines. Provide
guidance and mentorship to apprentice electricians, assisting them
in their training and development. Keep up-to-date with industry
trends, technological advancements, and changes to electrical codes
