About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Estimator to join our growing preconstruction team. This individual will lead the estimating process for multifamily residential projects ranging from $20M–$100M across Southwest Florida. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, deep knowledge of the local market, and a collaborative mindset that aligns with our culture of excellence and integrity. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end estimating process for multifamily projects: conceptual, schematic, and final GMP/bid proposals Develop accurate quantity takeoffs using digital tools (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, OST, etc.) Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop complete cost estimates Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids , ensuring full scope coverage and accurate pricing Participate in design review meetings , providing real-time value engineering and constructability input Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and executives to align preconstruction with execution strategy Track and update historical cost data, vendor pricing, and market conditions to maintain estimate accuracy Prepare and present estimates to executive leadership and ownership groups Mentor junior estimators and collaborate with the precon team to uphold quality and consistency Qualifications: 8–12 years of construction estimating experience, including significant multifamily project work (podium, garden-style, mid-rise, or wrap) Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred Strong understanding of project delivery methods (Design-Build, CM-at-Risk, Lump Sum) Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar construction software Demonstrated ability to develop conceptual budgets from limited design documentation Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills Local subcontractor market knowledge (Southwest Florida) a strong plus What We Offer: Competitive base salary annual bonus Health, dental, vision, and 401(k) with match PTO and paid holidays Supportive, collaborative team culture Long-term project pipeline across the region
