As a Hair Stylist, you will provide hair cuts, hair color, and styling integrating basic and advanced techniques creating fresh looks. Youll discuss the best products and hairstyles for each individual clients needs and preferences. Most importantly, you will make it your goal to ensure that every customer leaves our salon feeling great about their new look and happy with the services you provided. Responsibilities Evaluate customers face shape, hair features, and personal preferences to recommend appropriate hairstyles. Wash hair at hair washing stations with appropriate products Apply hair treatment products Execute haircuts, trims, and shaves Apply highlights and other hair coloring techniques Provide customers with a wide range of hair styling options, from formal to casual Recommend home care and styling products to ensure complete satisfaction Qualifications Successful completion of a cosmetology school is required Eager to learn new techniques in coloring, styling, and cutting Eager to become efficient in hair coloring, straightening, and curling techniques Familiar with a variety of products Up-to-date with trends in fashion and beauty
