1/7:00:00 AM to 3:30:00 PM Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $30.39 -
$39.50 / hour Summary "Coordinates daily CT department operations
and workflow. Acts as a resource to all staff. Accepts assigned
duties such as developing work and on-call staffing schedules.
Accepts "in charge" responsibilities as appropriate. Performs all
CT procedures and maintains a thorough working knowledge of the
operation of all equipment in the CT area. Safely operates the
scanner and injector in order to produce diagnostic quality CT
images. Understands the computer software of the CT scanners and
maintains competency in CT area. Consistently applies working
knowledge pertaining to CT anatomy and patho-physiology to produce
a high standard of quality images while under the direction of a
radiologist. Provides appropriate and safe patient care. Works
positively with all customers to promote patient, employee, and
physician satisfaction. Participates in performance improvement
initiatives. Participates in staff/student orientation and
training. Performs venipuncture for appropriate exams. In addition
to CT specific functions, the Lead technologist for the outpatient
setting, also accepts "in charge" responsibilities for all
technical staff under the direction of the Director and Managers of
Outpatient Radiology. Some supervisory level responsibilities
include: maintaining the facility's medical supply inventories,
monitoring daily work flow, staff coverage and compliance related
matters. The Lead Technologist will also participate in meetings
intended to improve customer service, quality assurance, system
compliance and department and technologist performance reviews."
Requirements Educational Requirements Degree/Diploma Obtained

RequirementsGraduation of JRCERT Accredited Radiography
ProgramExperience Requirements Minimum Years Required Area of
Experience Required/ Preferred and/or 2 Years CT Required State of
Florida Licensure Requirements Licenses Required/ Preferred and/or
Radiologic Technology License Required Certifications/Registration
