Tender Touch Rehab Services is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team, providing exceptional therapy services at our healthcare facilities. As a key player in our rehabilitation team, you will work under the direction of licensed physical therapists to help patients regain movement and manage pain after injuries and illnesses. This role is ideal for compassionate professionals who are eager to make a significant impact on the lives of their patients and thrive in a supportive, innovative environment. Assist physical therapists in the provision of direct patient care within the scope of practice. Help patients perform specific exercises as part of the plan of care. Treat patients using techniques that comply with prescribed treatments and therapy goals. Document patient's progress and report to the physical therapist any new conditions, behaviors, or treatments. Educate patients and families about health programs and maintenance. Maintain equipment and ensure the treatment area is clean and organized. Adhere to professional standards, policies, and procedures. Engage in ongoing educational activities to improve and maintain clinical competency. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to follow written and oral instructions effectively. Physical stamina and mobility to perform physical tasks. Knowledge of therapy and rehabilitation techniques. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask. 401k Valid Physical Therapist Assistant state license. CPR/BLS certification is preferred.
