Job Description:
Lee Health, a leading health system based in Southwest Florida,
is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Operating Room
RN to join our dynamic team. As a pivotal part of our healthcare
services, you will be tasked with providing critical surgical care
in our state-of-the-art operating rooms. This role demands a high
level of precision, compassion, and the ability to work efficiently
in a fast-paced environment. Provide preoperative and postoperative
care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Prepare the
operating room with all necessary instruments and equipment.
Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure
procedures run smoothly and safely. Monitor patient vital signs
during surgery and administer medications as needed. Maintain a
sterile environment to prevent infection. Educate patients and
their families on postoperative care and health maintenance.
Document all operation procedures and patient data in the medical
record. Participate in continuous education to improve skill sets
and stay updated with the latest surgical techniques and safety
protocols. Proficiency in operating room procedures and protocols.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage
high-stress, emergency situations. Expertise in the use of medical
equipment and instrumentation. Keen attention to detail and
exceptional organizational skills. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida. BLS/CPR certification.
ACLS certification preferred.
