Job Description:
Lee Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse
(RN) for our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Pediatric
Progressive Care Unit (PPCU). Located in the heart of Southwest
Florida, Lee Health remains committed to providing exceptional

communities. This position requires a compassionate professional
who thrives in dynamic, complex clinical environments, and is
passionate about delivering high-quality, family-centered care to
critically ill or recovering children. Provide comprehensive
nursing care to critically ill and recovering pediatric patients in
both PICU and PPCU settings. Monitor patient condition, administer
medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize
care plans. Support patient families with communication, education,
and resources. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, updating
treatment plans according to patient progress and evidence-based
practices. Maintain safety and infection control standards within
the unit. Document all patient care activities accurately and
timely in the patient medical records. Strong clinical skills in
pediatric critical care. Ability to operate advanced medical
equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Critical thinking and fast decision-making abilities. Capacity for
emotional resilience and stamina in stressful situations. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida. BLS
(Basic Life Support) Certification. PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life
Support) Certification preferred.
