Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare
services, is seeking a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our
team. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality diagnostic
imaging to support patient diagnosis and recovery, leveraging our
state-of-the-art facilities and a compassionate approach to patient
care. The candidate will work within inpatient rehabilitation
hospitals to assist patients through their recovery processes,
ensuring optimal care and precision in radiologic practices.
Perform routine diagnostic imaging procedures according to
departmental protocol, policy, and procedures. Work closely with
radiologists to optimize scan results, which are crucial for
patient diagnosis and management. Maintain accurate patient records
and adhere to safety standards to ensure a safe environment for
patients and staff. Assist in the management of radiology
equipment, schedule maintenance, and ensure operational standards.
Provide compassionate care and support to patients, explaining
procedures and answering queries to ensure comfort and
understanding. Proficient in using various radiographic imaging
technologies including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound. Strong
understanding of radiologic safety and protection principles.
Exceptional patient management skills and a high degree of empathy.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a
multidisciplinary team. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Certified and registered with the American Registry
of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Valid radiology technologist
state license.
