Job Summary:

Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Human Resources, the Talent Development Manager will be responsible for the creation, facilitation and maintenance of the Learning and Development programs. This person will be responsible for building E-learning and instructor lead training to support leadership development and Company initiatives to further the growth and development of internal teams and leaders.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and facilitate Learning & Development program through Company LMS systems, ensuring all mandatory trainings are completed timely
  • Continuously improve and perform new team member onboarding in partnership with the HR Business Partners
  • Design and develop e-learning solutions
  • Design and develop instructor lead training materials
  • Design, develop and manage a North American Leadership Development Program
  • Design, develop and manage both an internal and external Internship Program to attract and retain talent
  • Manage the EA NA Talent pool of high-potential ongoing growth and development
  • Foster a culture of excellence through leadership and talent development strategy
  • Stay abreast of market trends and Company needs to develop robust solutions to talent development
  • Facilitate training across all levels within the Organization to align with furthering existing internal talent pool
  • Identify areas of improvement, opportunities for internal talent development and make suggestions and build out solutions to confront these issues
  • Act as a partner to internal departments to buildout their existing talent pools
  • Ad hoc reporting and Departmental Projects
  • Manage the LMS

    Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills:
    • At least 5 years Learning & Development experience within an HR department
    • 5-7 years prior Human Resources experience
    • 5-7 years experience designing and presenting both instructor led and e-Learning solutions
    • Proven ability to build talent development solutions from discovery phase through facilitation
    • Must have ability to successfully engage and facilitate soft trainings to leadership staff
    • Prior experience working and maintain a robust LMS
    • Ability to maintain a high-degree of confidentiality and handle confidential documents in all duties
    • Able to multi-task with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, etc.
    • Ability to quickly and accurately learn new software and programs
    • Ability to thoroughly assess specific needs and be influential in instituting new and innovative recruitment methodologies.
    • Experience in insurance industry or call center environment preferred

      Education/Certifications:
      • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) or equivalent experience required
      • Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Management, Technical or related field preferred
      • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred

        Physical Working Environment:

        While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit for long periods of time; use of hands to grasp, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; finger dexterity; talk; hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
