Postdoctoral Fellow in Cryo-EXLO/FIB/EMJob Description:EXpressLO LLC is looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow Researcher to work collaboratively with a small yet diverse team further developing a recent U.S. patent application submission on cryogenic FIB -ex situ -lift out (cryo-EXLO) specimen handling apparatus and methods for cryogenic electron microscopy/tomography of lipid producing yeast and other energy-related materials. This is a 2 year position available immediately - we will continue our search until the position is filled.Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Structural Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field and must have excellent analytical and communication skills. The applicant should have TEM experience and preferably cryo-EM and cryo-specimen preparation experience. FIB or Cryo-FIB specimen preparation experience would be a plus. Any FIB lift-out experience would be advantageous - we can easily teach you -ex situ -lift out. Experience in cryo electron tomography and biomolecular structural analysis and modeling would be a plus. Relevant skills include apparatus construction, interfacing, and testing of software/hardware.
